The world's most popular footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo, opened up about his retirement plans.

In an interview with local media, 39-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo has indicated that he is not considering retiring early despite his contract with Saudi club Al-Nasr ending after this season.


Ronaldo has previously said that the 2024 Euro Cup could be his last tournament although he still wants to represent his country at the 2026 World Cup.


However, talking about his future plans, Ronaldo said that 2 or 3 years, I don't know if I will retire soon or not, but maybe I will retire from Saudi club Al Nasr.


"I am very happy at Saudi Club Al Nasr, I am happy to play in Saudi Arabia and I want to continue," Ronaldo said.


However, Cristiano Ronaldo said that when I retire from international football, I will not tell anyone in advance, it will be a very spontaneous decision.

Remember that Ronaldo left Manchester United and joined Saudi club Al Nasr in January 2023. His contract will expire after this season.


According to initial reports, Ronaldo has expressed his desire to extend his contract with Al-Nasr until 2027.
